SCX Control Code Signing
The SCX platform is engineered with a strong emphasis on stability and security. At the core of the system is our proprietary, closed-source software called ShowScript, which operates exclusively within the SCX environment.
The SCX functions as a black-box system, it is configured either in-house or on-site by our team, and its operational code, known as the control code, cannot be modified by third parties. For the ShowScript interpreter to execute any control code, it must be digitally signed by EVRST Engineering or an authorized dealer. This signing process can be performed remotely.
All SCX units maintain a secure remote connection to our gateway servers via an encrypted tunnel, enabling safe remote diagnostics and support.
Any unauthorized modification to the underlying hardware or file system will change the system’s unique System-ID, which in turn will invalidate the current control code signature. This guarantees the SCX runs only verified, uncompromised code. Preserving your ride's integrity over time and keeping all show elements performing exactly as originally designed.
If updates or modifications to the ride control logic are needed, please contact EVRST Engineering or one of our certified dealers. We will handle the necessary changes and re-sign the new control code for you.
Should you wish to repurpose the SCX hardware for non-EVRST use, we offer an "eject" plan. This process disconnects the system from our infrastructure and securely removes all proprietary software, after which you are free to use the hardware as you see fit.
